May 26th, 2012 - Down Town Keningau S.F.X Church. Congratulations to the newly wed Donny and Priscella on their wedding day! I am always delighted to accept challenges in every event and particularly for this one "Classy Vintage". Priscella or Litta is my own relative. I adore her 60's vintage obsession. The moment she mentioned vintage I was imagining Frames, Flowers, Vases, old books and lantern. She loves everything "old but new" he he he and the best part is her husband supported her throughout the whole process the color, the menu and etc, etc, etc. I am happy to interact directly to the decision maker, makes all decision crystal clear and my job is to create the ambiance come to life :)
So they wanted something white and "old". I mixed a little classy & vintage look to the setup. It was really a last minute shopping for me but thank God I saw something really outstanding from the far at this shop and it was "new arrival' oh yeah....Bingo!!...I quickly grabbed and pay and drove straight back to Keningau which is 2 hours and 30 minutes drive from Kota Kinabalu.
Anyways, I chose black vases, white flowers, a hint of green & a little red roses to feature the classy look and of course the old dictionary and old bible helped to create the vintage look. I also wanted it to feel and look homely so I topped it up with white and wooden frames with their pre-wedding pictures. I heard their guests were amazed and they say it was fancy manky! Thank you god the setup was a success..he he he...
As for the food...it was all good!! All locally inspired and never forgotten dishes in every special occasion. We have prepared a sumptuous buffet spread straight to main course Fried Mee Hoon with Condiments, Fried Rice "Kampung Style", Beef Rendang and Chicken in Blackpepper Sauce. As for the dessert we have prepared 6 local delicacies and of course another 2 additional homemade assorted donut and assorted sandwich namely Egg Mayo and Shredded Chicken. End with of course Coffee and Tea.
I am blessed with great help from my team and my family. Praise the Lord that he has blessed me with great assistance in this catering. It all went so well and we heard tremendous great comments from the guests and family members. Praise God!!
This is absolutely an enjoyment moment for me and my team. Thank you once again for this opportunity Mr & Mrs Donny!! God Bless and many returns in your marriage.
Warm regards,
QT
